Old Brick House, formerly the home of Edward Teach or Blackbeard the famous pirate who ravaged the Atlantic Coast during the early part of the 18th century. This house built of brick from England is five miles from Elizabeth City on the banks of the Pasquotank River, and is now used as a residence.
